Dr. Kneeland C. Brown

FOUNDER & CEO

As a 22 year old, first-generation college graduate, Kneeland started a part-time job as a graduate school recruiter, an entry-level staff position he took simply to pay the rent on his one-bedroom apartment, in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California. This position led to a road of consistent success and promotion over nearly 20 years in various educational institutions, in both the K-12 and college/university setting.

Kneeland has served in many roles ranging from student recruiter, department director, faculty member, Dean of a university school, and President of a private K-12 school system to name a few. Along this journey, he added a Master’s degree from Azusa Pacific University, as well as a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the Rossier School of Education, at the University of Southern California.

Kneeland’s wide breadth of experiences in educational administration, strategic engagement, and personnel leadership have compelled him that all educational institutions, large and small, regardless of budget size or facilities quality, must first conquer the task of building a strong and unified culture if they intend to be successful in their core work for any sustained period of time.

Winning is not about having the biggest budget, the newest buildings, and the largest team. Winning schools are those that OPTIMIZE their available resources and APPLY proven approaches to community learning in order to engineer a resilient school culture, which is held in common by all.

This is the recipe that creates winning schools. Schools that are OPTIMIZED – APPLIED, they’re OptiPlied.
